The last Twist on Station Rise market has now passed but the Twist Traders are still trading!
“We are extremely proud of organising a successful event in an alleyway that had never seen anything like it before. Many of the traders used Twist to launch themselves and new products and are now trading at others spots around Lambeth.
We even have some in a central Brixton shop – which is great. We have proved a street market can happen in this space – and we hope the Tulse Hill community will drive forward new markets there” – Lydia Gardner – Tree Shepherd

More ‘Twistees’ have been spotted at West Norwood Feast!
Including these two who were next to each other – the members have all mentioned that they loved the networking with other newbies and established sellers as they learn’t so much more and found new opportunities, which will help them grow!
Stephanie Caley of Caley’s Apothecary was featured on The Saturday Show talking herbal medicine with Gaby Roslin & Sunetra Sarka.

A HUGE thank you to all our traders, sponsors and the public who supported this project and we hope to continue helping each other in the future!
No really… you are!
Our local community market would never have started without such support as was given by Southern Rail.
Southern Rail have been sponsoring the market from the start and will continue to support any Twist related markets after the initial 6 months for another 18 months and letting us use the alley space.
Dominic, the Area Manager at Station gives the go ahead for doorway planters created and provided by L’Arche London UK in West Norwood – we will be giving more info on this project soon.
It does really show how local business big and small do care about their local community and wish to help others, it’s great to find out about this type of help and support when it can so easily be missed!
We give a huge thank you to Southern Rail.
Are you going tonight?
No Snow & Hail predicted and the rain will be AFTER 8pm yay!
A newbie will be with our regular Twistees tonight – Blooming Brixton (website under construction) Will Kerr will be showing his handmade concrete planters and Victorian pre 1910 pots with succulents that are mostly grown from seed as well as a few other hardy favourites that are ideal for flats and homes without gardens… but also great for the british weather
Will has previously managed the McQueens Floristry shop at Claridges and provided for many events for celebrities and is starting up on his own to bring his stylish creations to weddings, special events, and individuals who appreciate fine Floristry.
